Lift and Crib Lifting Sequence
Step 1   Step 2   Step 3   Step 4

The Stage-Lift cylinder is placed on a solid support under the load (retracted plunger).   Plunger extends, lifting the load and giving clearance to insert two outer cribbing blocks under the spreading plate.   Plunger retracts, giving clearance to position the central cribbing blocks which will support the plunger plate for the next extension.   Plunger extends, lifting the load and giving clearance to insert two new cribbings blocks, placed crosswise under the spreading plate.

Three basic types of Stage-Movement Systems are:

  1. Move and Pin: used in either horizontal or vertical planes
  2. Lift and Crib Lifting: limited to lifting and lowering in vertical planes
  3. Threaded Bar: limited to lifting and lowering in vertical planes
