RAC606, 60 ton (533,8 kN) Capacity, 6 in (152,4 mm) Stroke, Single-Acting, Aluminum Center Hole Hydraulic Cylinder

Simplex RAC Single Acting Hydraulic Cylinders are lighter and more portable than steel equivalents. A center hole (hollow plunger) cylinder that can be used for pushing and pulling applications.
Model: RAC606   |  ECCN: EAR99    |   Harmonization: 8412210075
Series: RAC - Simplex   |  Product Line: Hydraulic Tools

Simplex RAC Series Aluminum Hydraulic Cylinders are approximately half the weight of steel equivalents and are engineered to withstand tough applications in harsh conditions. They feature a hollow plunger to enable pushing and pulling forces to be applied which means they’re ideal for applications such as tensioning, testing, pulling, and lifting.

Aluminum is not only lighter, but also inherently less corrosive than steel, which makes it a great material for use in many caustic environments. Inside the cylinder is a high-strength return spring for plunger retraction and stop rings for blow out protection. The cylinder exterior is finished with an anodized hard coat to extend cylinder life, and a wiper to protect the inner cylinder assembly from dirt, moisture, and other contaminants.

  • Approximately half the weight of steel cylinders
  • Hollow threaded plunger also allows pulling and pushing applications
  • Heavy duty spring delivers fast and full retraction
  • Hard anodized coating reduces wear and corrosion
  • Stop rings prevent piston blow-out
  • Wiper protects inner cylinder from dirt.
  • Meets ANSI/ASME B30.1 Safety Standards
  • Load tested under 125% of the nominal capacity
  • For working pressures up to 10,000 psi (700 bar).
